Leona Graham

Birmingham born Leona Graham is thrilled Absolute Radio is coming to The West Midlands on FM!

We’ve got some exciting news about Absolute Radio.

If you live in the West Midlands, from Monday 7th September, you’re going to be able to listen to us on 105.2FM. We’re doing this because we want to bring more choice to radio listeners in the region and spread our gospel.

You can already listen on digital radio, via your digital TV, online and on your mobile and that will continue, but we wanted to make it as easy as possible for you to enjoy the station. We’ve put all of the different ways you can listen at the bottom of this page.

So, there are going to be more ways to enjoy Frank Skinner on Saturday mornings and Rock N Roll Football is back for another season with Ian Wright. If you’re a Villa or Baggies fan we’ll be doing live Barclays Premier League commentary every Saturday afternoon with more coverage of the West Midlands teams.

Mid Morning presenter Leona Graham is particularly thrilled, “I was born in Birmingham, we lived in Erdington, my parents are from Yardley, and just about all my family still live here, including my brother, cousins, and nephews. I went to Warwick University and returned to Birmingham in the 90s when I lived in Edgbaston. Us brummies know good music and I know the station will be loved on FM in the region because we love real music! After all Black Sabbath came from here!”

We’ve also got some exciting plans for documentaries and gigs in the Midlands too. Keep listening as there’ll be lots of chances for you to come along and join us.

So, if you’re in the West Midlands – we look forward to talking to you on 105.2FM from Monday 7th September. Oh, and if you know someone in the area who might not listen already, then tell them about us – we’ll love you forever.
